It is a great honour to serve as Ireland’s first resident Ambassador to Pakistan. We opened our embassy this year (2024) in Islamabad and on behalf of our team, I would like to thank all you who have helped us settle in and commence the establishment of Ireland’s newest embassy in the Asia region. The warm welcome we have received has made us feel at home!

Together with my colleagues, we are committed to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Ireland and Pakistan, building on our political, economic, sporting and cultural linkages. We are excited to discover connections between Pakistan and Ireland including the web of relationships built over the years of people-to-people contact.

Building our network with business and enterprise partners including Irish companies doing business in Pakistan and Pakistani companies investing in Ireland is an important objective for us. The Embassy represents ‘Team Ireland’ and we look forward to facilitating visits to Pakistan from Irish State Agencies.

To our Irish citizens, whether you are a permanent resident, or a short-term visitor, it is important that we are able to assist you in any consular issues that may arise, and therefore we would ask you to take the time to register with the Embassy.
