It is an honour to have been appointed as Ireland’s Ambassador to the Republic of Slovenia.

I am particularly pleased to serve as Ambassador at a time when relations between Ireland and Slovenia have never been better.

Our countries enjoy a warm bilateral relationship forged through friendships, communities and professional connections between Irish and Slovenian citizens.

Ireland and Slovenia work closely together as proud and committed members of the EU and as strong partners at multilateral and international level. We do so with the common goal of promoting our shared values of democracy, equality and respect for human rights.

Ireland and Slovenia are modern, outward-oriented countries with rich cultural and linguistic heritages and dynamic and innovative economies.

Together with the Embassy team in Ljubljana, I am committed to strengthening Ireland’s ties with Slovenia through education, sporting and cultural connections, advancing our economic interests and trade links and supporting the Irish community and growing numbers of Irish visitors to Slovenia.
