The public office of the Consulate is open from Monday to Friday, 09:30-12:30 and from 13:30-16:30.

Please note that visa applications are now made online, and applications can be submitted at one of the Visa Application Centres in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. Full information on Ireland’s visa services in China is available at our Visa page.
Directions to the Consulate
The Consulate is located on the 9th floor of JC Plaza at 1225 Nanjing Road West. The Consulate is about 10 minutes’ walk along Nanjing Road from either Nanjing Road West metro station (Metro Line 2,12,13) or Jingan Temple metro station (Line 2,7,14). Our offices are accessible for all by elevator from the ground floor office lobby.
