Welcome message
Fáilte chuig suíomh gréasáin Ambasáid na hÉireann sa Chróit.
Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Ireland, Croatia.
Dobro došli na stranicu Veleposlanstva Irske u Hrvatskoj.
I am delighted to have been appointed as Ambassador of Ireland to Croatia, and was honoured to present my credentials to President Zoran Milanović at the start of September. Together with my colleagues in the Embassy, I will continue the great work done by my predecessors and shall further promote the excellent bilateral relations between our two countries, building on the strong foundations laid by my predecessors and the staff of the Embassy.
I am delighted to be in Zagreb and am enjoying discovering the similarities between our two countries and peoples and look forward to learning a lot more in my time here. I am looking forward to travelling around the country and meeting the Irish community in different locations, starting with Zagreb.
In addition I am looking forward to promoting Ireland including Irish culture – including music, dance and literature, also Irish food and drink.
And also we remain very open to supporting business links between Ireland and Croatia.
I hope this website will continue to be an informative resource on developments in Ireland, its bilateral relations with Croatia, and the work of the Embassy. Please drop us an e-mail or give us a call if you need more assistance.
Is mise le meas/Srdačan pozdrav,
