Information on applying for an Irish passport if you are resident in India
The Consulate General does not issue passports. If you are resident in India, please view the information on the Irish Embassy in New Delhi site.
Irish Citizens looking to renew an adult passport can apply online. In order to apply online:
- you must have less than 12 months validity remaining on your current passport
- your passport must not be expired for more than 5 years
- no name changes are permitted
