Gone fishin'

Pech_Frame

Lough Melvin, located on the border between County Leitrim and County Fermanagh, is one of the most popular areas for fishing in the north west.

Known for producing the first salmon of the year, the lake is also home to three species of fish unique to Lough Melvin: the Gillaroo Trout, the Sonaghan Trout and the Ferox Trout.

Meet fellow fishers and guides in spaces like Drowes Fishery, visited here.
