A New Chapter: Women Writing Northern Ireland Now Highlights

Three award-winning Northern Irish Authors, Lucy Caldwell, Jan Carson, and Michelle Gallen embarked on five-city East Coast Tour from 27 November to December 5, exploring the influence of their diverse backgrounds on their writing today, 25 years after the signing of the Good Friday Agreement. The authors participated in panels, met students, academics, and the Irish community, and signed books at multiple events at universities and consulates in Boston, New York City, and Washington D.C. The tour was a great success, with sold-out book sales at each event, and all three authors receiving US publication deals, highlighting the importance of diverse writing and perspectives on Irish identity and history.
